Let's Expand Pharmacare Now!
To the Legislative Assembly of Ontario:
Whereas 1-in-5 Ontarians do not have access to public or private coverage of prescription medications, which puts their health at imminent risk; and
Whereas access to essential prescription medications keeps people out of emergency rooms and hospitals, reducing the burden on our health system; and
Whereas access to prescription medications will prevent disease progression and reduce preventable death among Ontarians;
Whereas expanding access to prescription medications has been demonstrated to be cost-effective, saving healthcare dollars that can be allocated to other programs;
WE the undersigned petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows:

Expand Ontario Drug Benefit eligibility criteria to include all Ontarians, regardless of age or income status
